ストライプ状に重ねられた色彩は、時間や記憶の層だろうか。

先端にそっと置かれた球体、宙に浮かぶいくつかのかけら。
それらは落ちているのか、浮上しているのか、腕が吐き出しているのか、はたまたその全てが連綿と続いているのか‥
その関係性は明示されず、解釈は開かれています。

「器の仕事」とは、目立たずとも何かを支え、受けとめ、送り出す存在のこと。

The form depicted in this work is like a “vessel,” like a single arm.
The striped layers of color may be layers of time and memory.

A sphere gently placed at the tip of the piece, some fragments floating in the air.
Are they falling, surfacing, or being ejected by an arm, or are they all part of a continuous chain?
The relationship between them is not specified, but open to interpretation.

The “work of a vessel” is an existence that supports, receives, and sends out something, even if it is unobtrusive.
