中抜きされた空見上げ

この作品は「欠けたもの」や「空白」にこそ意味がある、という逆説的な美をテーマにした抽象デザインアートです。

人物の顔はどこか途中で“中抜き”されており、物理的な形の欠損だけでなく、ぽっかりと開いた心の空洞や、現代人が抱える“喪失”や“虚無”をも表しています。
そして、その空白の先にあるのが“空を見上げる”という行為——
つまり、足りないものを探すのではなく、欠けたままで空を仰ぐことで何かを見出そうとする姿勢。　
しかして、見上げたその空も‥ 。

Looking up at the hollowed-out sky” is an abstract design artwork that takes as its theme the paradoxical beauty that ‘something missing’ or ‘blank’ can have a meaning.

The face of the figure is “hollowed out” somewhere in the middle, representing not only a physical form that is missing, but also a gaping void in the heart and the “loss” and “emptiness” that modern people are burdened with. The “void” is not only a loss of physical form.
And beyond this void is the act of “looking up at the sky” - in other words, it is not a search for what is missing.
In other words, the act of looking up to the sky, not to look for what is missing, but to find something by looking up to the sky with what is missing.　
But then, the sky that we look up at is also........
